Hi, my name is Rosanna, but most people know me as Roxy. My partner and I moved to Bowen early 2023 after we stumbled into this beautiful town on a road trip from Brisbane. And well, we loved it so much, we decided to move here.

We met Mac and Vennesa one night with the intention of just becoming members of GEMFM and walked out agreeing to become presenters.

What’s Happening in Bowen with Roxy is all about giving you a round up of what’s happening in town and the Whitsunday region in general.

Everyone at the Station thought it might be a good idea to have a show where we can provide you with a look at what’s happening in Bowen over the weekend and the week ahead.

But it’s not just about events happening in Bowen, it’s also about letting you know about the different Clubs and Associations that we have in town and the types of activities and events that are held throughout the year. So, if you’re a Community Service Club, a leisure or recreation club or any other type of Club, we would love to hear from you and what types of things you do and get up to.
