Hi I’m Mac. My full name is Gordon Barnes however over the years I have picked up a few nicknames Mac being one of them. My partner Kerry and I came to Bowen just after cyclone Debbie to retire from the traffic and hustle and bustle of larger cities. My involvement with GEM FM was only going to be of a technical nature but I find that I am now a presenter. YOU are welcome to come and help anytime you like !
About this program
Blast From the Past plays predominantly rock music from the 50’s to the 90’s with a bit of pop, folk and country thrown in. There are three rules when listening to the show,
Grab something cold,
Grab a comfy spot to sit,
Relax for an hour or more of my favorite music.
